I confirm that anybody under 16 as part of this registration will be supervised or contactable (mobile) by their parent or guardian at all times while the child is on the course. I confirm that it is my responsibility and not the Houghton Trail organisers and volunteer Marshalls for the wellbeing of my child. I confirm that I as the child’s parent or guardian must attend registration with my child and either be supervising my child out on the course or will be at the finish line at all times during the event and in suitable communication with my child.

I confirm that at all times during the cycle event I must use a cycle helmet for my safety and will abide by UK traffic regulations and highway code while out on the course. I confirm that The Houghton Trail organising committee and volunteer Marshalls will not be liable for my safety should I or my additional entrants decide not to abide by the UK highway code and traffic regulations. I confirm that at registration I must bring my cycle helmet to prove I have one and accept I will not be allowed to register attendance or start the event if I can not produce my helmet. I will abide by the decision of the Houghton Trail Organisers.
